Dropped off my work at the gallery in Marblehead yesterday,  it looks great.  The opening reception is June 1  for  2-4.  Invitation is being printed and will be mailed out asap.  My "Cracking Up" piece in the window looked great.  I have 7 new pieces on display and the rest are ones my frequent opening guests may recognize.

"Beets and Onions"  here is what we did for watercolor color class week number 5.  I think it kinda looks like the cover of a cooking magazine.  The onions were a little tough but the beets painted themselves.

I will be working this Saturday and Sunday at The Gallery at Patriot Place and I always welcome company.

Garlic never looked so pretty as when I spread the wrappers open to paint.  They look just like flowers.  SOLD

Happy "Earth Day"  Here is week 4 of this springs painting class.  We all picked a photo of a bird, any bird.  The first step was to make an out of focus background.  We had quite a few successful pieces.

"Collections"  received 3rd Place at the Rhode Island Watercolor Society's Members show this past weekend, pretty good for a piece that was turned down from a juried show last fall!
