This is a pointsettia at my moms given to her by my sister. Everytime I visited I was taken with the beautiful shadows that were cast on the living room rug. Finally when I remembered the camera I snapped the picture. I hope you like it.

yesterdays glass study, watercolor painted traditionally,
not the wet on wet like the day before.
The crystal was a lot more intricate but the paisley clothe
was fun to paint and I love the way it came out.

Thursday, September 2, 2010

Working on glass this week, this is a watercolor painted wet on wet, it worked up
pretty easily, I did use a little masking fluid to save some of the whites.

"Feeding Time" Not to often do I put a figure in, but this was from a picture of a man I had from long ago. I changed his clothing and added some birds. Originally it was a long painting then I decided all the background was not necessary. SOLD

Sunday, August 1, 2010

OK, This is the second time I painted this subject,
(Ken's guitar) the first one sold but I liked it so much I decided to paint a full sheet with my favorite rug as the background. This time it is a full sheet. I love it! It was accepted into the Portsmouth Arts Assoc. Juried show in June.
