Back at it again, this is the first class of the new year, pears are always a good way for the girls to get back into the groove, a subject they are all very familiar with.

Not a watercolor I know! This is a pennie rug table runner I made
with wool taking the design from my Claire Murray rug that sits under the table.

That time of year again, this was done some time ago but I thought it would
be a nice posting for a blessed beautiful cool fall like day like today.

Getting back in the swing of things after taking a few days off I am posting an oldie but goodie.
"Backyard Girls" is a watercolor painting of the cows that used to live in my backyard. I miss them and will never sell this painting of them, it is such a happy memory for my family.

I'm so thankful today for the wonderful holiday/birthday weekend in Maine. Perfect weather and company. Not much painting getting done.
Here is a pretty little summer watercolor still life.

yesterdays glass study, watercolor painted traditionally,
not the wet on wet like the day before.
The crystal was a lot more intricate but the paisley clothe
was fun to paint and I love the way it came out.

Working on glass this week, this is a watercolor painted wet on wet, it worked up
pretty easily, I did use a little masking fluid to save some of the whites.

Second in the yarn series, this was a commission for a great friend
who owns "In the Loop" a little yarn shop in Norfolk MA.
I really enjoy painting yarn and will probubly paint a few more.
