Here is a picture of my springtime mantel with two of my aquabord paintings. 
I was in the mood for spring yesterday even with the 8 inches of snow remaining on the ground.

Here is one from way back but I always liked it and it hangs in my guest bedroom
....a little mysterious, painted on canson watercolor paper. 
I love to experiment with all different paper surfaces.

Watercolor on Illustration board.  Im pretty excited about this one, the new surface was fun to work on, it worked up really fast.  I painted it from a photo I took while at the cottage in KPT Maine after a beautiful snowfall.

Well, finally I can load a photo!!!!!!!!!Have not been able to for a week now.  Busy painting in the studio but no new paintings to post, reworked this one a little when I felt I needed to loosen up.  I will be posting new pieces in a day or two.

Another old one I found yesterday, and now loosening up by playing with some of the reject pile, I will post some of those this week.

Snowy weekend got me cleaning the studio. I came across a bunch of old painting. Some of these are QUITE old.

I will be revisiting this painting again, its been in the maybe pile for a while.

Still working on this one, I started it during my long lonely day gallery sitting on Superbowl Sunday at the Patriot place Gallery. I'm thinking I might want to submit it to the Rhode Island Watercolors Society's "Bon Appetit" juried show coming up this month.

This cow skull is painted on Aquabord. Thanks Ron for taking the cool photo, crazy but fun to paint.

A visit to the New England Watercolor Society's Signature members show yesterday. Here I am with my painting. So many beautiful works of art I was so pleased to be among them all.
